Artie Lange's Racial Slavery Fantasy
If you do a quick search for ESPN First Take host Cari Champion's name on Twitter on any given day, you'll no doubt come across quite a few inappropriate tweets aimed in her direction. From men asking her out on dates to First Take viewers asking her not to share her opinions on the show, she's subjected to disrespect on a variety of different levels on a daily basis. But yesterday, comedian Artie Lange went above and beyond the usual levels of disrespect by sending Champion a series of tweets that were racist, completely inappropriate, and downright disgusting.

It's OK to Call Soldiers "Negro"
Is this the United States military in 2014 or a deep south lunch counter in 1964? The Army's most recently released "Army Command Policy" regulations state that it is acceptable to refer to "black or African American" soldiers as "negro," which, the regulation says, describes "A person having origins in any of the black racial groups of Africa." CNN was first to report the word's use in the regulation, which came out Oct. 22. Of course, the word "negro" has all sorts of painful connotations, is mostly considered archaic, and has pretty much fallen out of use since the Civil Rights Movement because ... oh, wait. The federal government used the term on the 2010 census. Remember that? Yeah, people were pissed off then too, so the U.S. Census Bureau officially dropped the term in 2013 after more than 100 years. But apparently the Army wasn't paying attention. An Army spokesman told CNN the use of the word comes from an outdated section, which is "currently under review, and will be updated shortly." Army, maybe pay more attention and you won't have to keep rolling back stuff that makes you look racist.

Birdman Buys $14.5 Million Miami Mansion
When you're one of the richest rappers in the world, with a net worth of $130 million, you need a house that goes above and beyond "jaw dropping". Cash Money Records rapper/CEO/Mogul, Birdman achieves that goal, and then some, with the stunning $14.5 million Palm Island mansion that he just bought from Rockstar energy drink founder Russell Weiner. The uber-competitive Birdman may have caught the real estate bug after hearing his brother Ronald "Slim" Williams paid $7.15 million IN CASH for the largest house in South Florida last month. While Birdman's new house is smaller than Slims', at $14.5 million it's more than twice as expensive… The 30,000 square foot waterfront mansion, located at 70 Palm Ave, features nine bedroom, 12 bathroom, 19,000 square feet of living space and is bigger than most Four Seasons hotels. The property also includes an underground indoor pool, spa, wine cellar, movie theater, fitness center and a game room. The outside area has one hundred feet of waterfront views, an additional pool, a large entertaining area with bungalows and dock space for a very large yacht. The mansion's previous owner Russell Weiner, founder of Rockstar energy drinks, is more than doubling his investment after just two years. Weiner bought the house in 2010 for just $6.75 million after it had been repossessed from troubled hip hop producer Scott Storch. Scott Storch bought the house for $10.5 million in 2006, at the peak of both his career and the housing bubble. Storch, who once had a net worth exceeding $70 million, went bankrupt after spending his entire fortune on cocaine, cars, jewelry, private jets, a $20 million yacht and expensive girlfriends like Paris Hilton.
