2 Chainz On PRPS Denim Collaboration
This past July, 2 Chainz announced via Instagram that he was collaborating with PRPS on a denim line. There were very few details and no previews, save for the image the rapper posted. But yesterday, we stopped by the PRPS showroom in Manhattan to get a first look at the upcoming collection, which Tity Boi says was a natural progression given his love for the brand. While there, we talked to him about the inspiration for the designs—one of which he says is something like the "landing mark for a stripper"—how the collab came about, and what he thinks about sneakerheads wearing #NTdenim. You'll want to watch this one.
Bahrain: More Bloodshed
Earlier this year, VICE News correspondent Ben Anderson traveled to Bahrain undercover to document the ongoing protests there. Bahrainis — inspired by the Arab Spring — have been taking to the streets every night for almost four years, calling for democracy. One of the people Ben interviewed was Yousif Badah. His son, Ali Badah, was killed while protesting three years ago, when a police SUV repeatedly ran into him, pinning him against a wall. On the third anniversary of his son's death, Yousif and others held a vigil for Ali. That vigil turned into a march, and was similarly met with police violence, this time resulting in injury to Yousif himself.

O.T. says he's good friends with Cipha Sounds, which is likely how Flex got the record.

Hackers Threaten Sony Employees
The Sony hacking saga just got a little scarier. No, not because North Korea is responsible—It was just confirmed that it was not involved—but because the hackers actually responsible have gone way past leaking Sony employees’ complaints about Adam Sandler by threatening employees. Variety reported that an email from the GOP, Guardians of Peace, that is, said: “Please sign your name to object the false (sic) of the company at the email address below if you don’t want to suffer damage. If you don’t, not only you but your family will be in danger.” Immediately after Sony employees were told to turn off their devices after getting the message. A spokesman for Sony said, “We are aware of the situation and are working with law enforcement.”
Da Sweet Blood Of Jesus
Spike Lee's new stylized thriller DA SWEET BLOOD OF JESUS is a new kind of love story. Dr. Hess Green (Stephen Tyrone Williams) becomes cursed by a mysterious ancient Afrian artifact and is overwhelmed with a newfound thirst for blood. He however is not a vampire. Soon after his transformation he enters into a dangerous romance with Ganja Hightower (Zaraah Abrahams) that questions the very nature of love, addiction, sex, and status in our seemingly sophisticated society.

The Gambler
Jim Bennett (Academy Award®-nominee Mark Wahlberg) is a risk taker. Both an English professor and a high-stakes gambler, Bennett bets it all when he borrows from a gangster (Michael Kenneth Williams) and offers his own life as collateral. Always one step ahead, Bennett pits his creditor against the operator of a gambling ring (Alvin Ing) and leaves his dysfunctional relationship with his wealthy mother (Academy Award®-winner Jessica Lange) in his wake. He plays both sides, immersing himself in an illicit, underground world while garnering the attention of Frank (John Goodman), a loan shark with a paternal interest in Bennett’s future. As his relationship with a student (Brie Larson) deepens, Bennett must take the ultimate risk for a second chance…
Let's Kill Ward's Wife
Everyone hates Ward’s wife and wants her dead, Ward (Donald Faison) most of all. But when his friends’ murderous fantasies turn into an (accidental) reality, they have to deal with a whole new set of problems—like how to dispose of the body and still make their 3 p.m. tee time. It  is a blackly comic caper about helping a friend out of a bad relationship by any means necessary.
