Michael Dunn Sentenced to Life
Michael Dunn was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole today for killing Jordan Davis at a Jacksonville, Fla. gas station in November 2012. Dunn, 47, was convicted of first-degree murder earlier this month for firing 10 shots into a vehicle carrying Davis and three of his friends. Three bullets struck Davis, who died shortly after. According to News 4 Jax, Dunn offered his first public apology to the teenager's family in court. "I want the Davis family to know I truly regret what happened," he said. "I'm sorry for their loss. If I could roll back time and do things differently, I would." Dunn's sentence carries another 90 years for the three attempted murder convictions associated with the other teenagers in the car, as well as a concurrent 15-year sentence for opening fire into an occupied vehicle.

Freeway on Cassidy Battle
Freeway reflected on his classic battle vs. Cassidy years ago, in this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes. Freeway admitted that he believes Cassidy was victorious in that match, and recalled not being fully prepared for the situation at the time, but still being willing to spit bars because he came from that era where you had to battle on the spot. Freeway isn't focused on battling again; however, if the proper amount of money is offered then he would definitely consider stepping back into the lyrical ring.
Truth Behind the Harvin Trade
All the dirt about Percy Harvin that the Seattle Seahawks covered up since acquiring him last year is coming to light now that they have traded the wide receiver/back to the New York Jets. We already told you that Harvin was difficult to deal with last season and wanted out of Seattle, which led the team to trade him on Friday. The trade was a shocker for a number of reasons. One, the Seahawks gave up a lot and paid a lot to acquire Harvin. Two, there had not been any reports about his attitude issues until now. Since the trade was made, a lot of stories have come out about Harvin. Radio host Lance Zierlein of Sports Talk 790 in Houston shared a ton of inside information about some of Harvin’s problems in Seattle, which includes fights the receiver got into with teammates. According to Zierlein, Harvin gave Golden Tate a black eye during Super Bowl week last season and nearly fought with Russell Wilson this season. The photo at the top is of Tate during Super Bowl week and you can see the discoloration around his left eye.
Free Starbucks For Life
If you know someone who appreciates the gift of coffee (or are just buying a present for yourself), you might just stumble onto a gift that keeps on giving at Starbucks this holiday season. That's because the caffeine giant is giving away a lifetime of free drinks to 10 lucky gift card holders -- more than enough to put Philip J. Fry in a state of hyperspeed. The promotion is available to anyone who uses a Starbucks Card to pay for their drink at any store in North America, as well as people who pay using their mobile device (they accept phone payments now!). Unfortunately, according to their press release, a "lifetime" is 30 years' worth of beverages, but who are we to look a gift card horse in the mouth? The promotion is going on from December 2nd to December 25th. Stockpile those stocking stuffers, people!
