Shooting At Florida State University
Police officers shot and killed a suspected gunman after he opened fire at Florida State University and wounded at least three people early Thursday, The Associated Press reported. Students and staff were warned about the incident when sirens began going off on the Tallahassee campus and FSU officials issued an emergency alert about a "dangerous situation." On the FSU website, students and staff were urged to "seek shelter immediately, away from doors and windows." By 2 a.m., that order had been removed from the site. At 12:30 a.m., police responded to a call about an active shooter on campus, Tallahassee Police Department spokesman David Northway said. At the time, officers were told that at least one person had already been shot. When police officers confronted the gunman on the steps of the Strozier Library and ordered him to drop his weapon, the suspect allegedly opened fire, Northway said. The officers then fired back, killing the shooter. The identity of the gunman has not been released. A motive for the shooting is currently under investigation. More than 300 students were inside the library studying for finals when the shooting occurred. One student, Toni Haywood, was on the second floor of the library around 12:30 a.m. when she heard gunshots, ABC News reported. Minutes later, the police announced via intercom that there was a gunman in the library, Haywood told the network via text.

Ultimately No Battler Can Beat Me
Loaded Lux discussed a variety of Battle Rap topics in this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes. Lux began by sharing his thoughts on T-Rex using mixtape bars in his battle vs. Charlie Clips. Lux gave Rex props for taking the battle despite suffering a death in the family the same day, but also stated that an individual's preparation determines the type of product that gets put forth to the masses; therefore, insinuating that a lack of preparation from Rex is most likely what made him resort to mixtape rhymes. Lux then spoke about his inconsistency and why he chooses to battle so rarely. According to him, he only battles when he gets a deep-rooted urge to compete. Against Murda Mook, Lux stated that he wasn't really coming for blood, and that anyone whom he gets in the lyrical ring with in the future, he's coming to take their head off. If Lux is hungry for a battle, then he thinks that ultimately nobody can beat him.
Sony Bailing on Its Steve Jobs Film
Sony's Steve Jobs movie is going to develop trust issues. Just a couple weeks after Christian Bale left the biopic written by Aaron Sorkin, Sony has decided to sell the project's rights to another studio. Director Danny Boyle wanted to start production in January because he had a short window before his next film, but Sony didn't feel ready to kick things off, according to THR. The film has had issues casting a lead even before Bale left. Leonardo DiCaprio was originally offered the role before he bailed and gave Bale the opportunity to do the same. Michael Fassbender recently expressed interest in the gig but hasn't signed on officially. Universal is reportedly interested in acquiring the movie rights and turning it around for next year's awards season. But given its troubled past the movie may have a hard time finding a new home. It might need years of work before it's ready for another relationship.
TV Land Drops The "Cosby Show"
Sorry Rudy, Vanessa and Theo, but somebody (allegedly) went and fucked up that fat royalty check for everybody. Old-school network TV Land has announced it will no longer air syndicated re-runs of The Cosby Show in light of the many rape accusations leveled against Bill Cosby. That announcement comes after NBC earlier today announced it was scrapping development on a new Cosby series which would have brought the former sitcom king back to his old network. Netflix also shelved a Cosby stand-up special indefinitely. We have to wonder if Cosby's stand-up dates around the country might be the next thing to get canceled, but as of right now his more than 30 live shows are still a go. The Florida venue hosting his next performance even posted an assurance on its website that the show would go on (but we know that could change very quickly). “Mr. Cosby is a well-respected member of the entertainment community and one of America’s most beloved performers. While we are aware of the allegations reported in the press, we are only in a position to judge him based on his career as an entertainer and humanitarian. His sold out show at the King Center for the Performing Arts this Friday, November 21 will go on as scheduled.” If those shows do go on, it's going to be pretty interesting to see how people receive him. Either way, it feels like this is the end for Cosby's comeback and career in general.
