Saturday Night Live had its Survivor moment this summer, axing cast members left and right, ultimately making way for Leslie Jones, who has just been added to its featured cast.

Despite losing out to Sasheer Zamata last year in SNL’s nationwide search, Jones appeared on screen last season and this season, while writing for the show.

Jones will make her debut as a featured player this weekend when the wonderful Jim Carrey hosts.
